7-1 Survey initiation

There are two ways of starting a survey.

(1) Manual operation

Pressing START/STOP key on Wh range for 2 sec. or more starts measurement.

(2) Automatic operation (presetting the time and date)

Set the start time and date on the SET UP range (“Setting 10”), and then press

START/STOP key on Wh range. The instrument goes into stand-by mode, and the

measurement starts at the preset time and date.

● Manual measurement

1 Press the START/STOP key on Wh range for 2 secs. or more.

2 The file number screen is displayed for about 1 sec. followed by the measurement screen. The survey

then starts. At this time, LED status indicator is on.
